Library Book Discussion Group Reads In the Heart of the Sea
The next meeting of the Library Book Discussion Group will be on Tuesday, March 20th, at 10 a. m. in the library’s Marblehead Room. The group will be discussing the book all Marblehead is reading this month, Nathaniel Philbrick’s In The Heart Of The Sea. This is the story of the whaleship Essex from Nantucket which was rammed and sunk by an angry sperm whale. For more than 90 days the crew drifted in three small whaleboats, fighting hunger and thirst, trying to reach South America. We’re always happy to welcome new members!
