Teen Book Discussion
Teens are invited to join Ms. Farrell, the Young Adult Librarian, who will be discussing Revenge of the Whale: the True Story of the Whaleship Essex on Thursday, March 15, at 3 p.m. at the Abbot Public Library. This is Nathaniel Philbrick’s adaptation from the New York Times best-seller and National Book Award winner In the Heart of the Sea. Philbrick does an amazing job of describing what it was like to be in a leaky boat in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with barely any supplies after a whale attacked the Essex. Snacks will be provided so teens won’t go hungry.
