Marblehead is a member of a library consortium called NOBLE (North of Boston Library Exchange) containing 27 libraries that cooperate in many ways to provide the best library services possible to their constituencies. The libraries all share the same electronic catalog; therefore, the materials in Abbot Library are accessible through the NOBLE online catalog. Having the catalog on the Web means that library users can reach us from any computer that is connected to the Internet. If you have received a PIN number from staff members at the Library, you may renew books, cancel reserves, and place your own holds/reserves, including materials owned by other libraries. This gives you wonderful options to take advantage of whenever it is convenient to do so rather than just during library hours.
