Located on the lower level, the Children’s Room serves children from birth to early adolescence. We provide story, music, writing, and arts and crafts programs. We have five computers for catalog searches, homework, and games. The collection includes picture books, early readers, novels, nonfiction, music and stories on tape and CD, CD-ROMS, and parent and teacher resources.

The Children’s Room webpage will expand over time to include sections for kids, parents, and teachers. We will also provide greater information on programs, book recommendations, awards, and homework support. We will include forums for book talks, writing, and suggestions.
