5. Emergency Closing of the Building In the event of an emergency, the Abbot Public Library Board of Trustees authorizes the Library Director to take whatever actions are necessary, including but not limited to closing the facility, to protect the health, safety, welfare and security of patrons and staff, and if possible, to do so in consultation with the Chair of the Trustees.
