Answer: We are at 235 Pleasant Street, Marblehead, MA 01945. The Library is located on MBTA Bus Routes 441, 442, 448, 449. (Call MBTA at 617-222-3200 or visit their website at www.mbta.com .) Parking is permitted on the street, and there is a small parking lot in the back of the Library off Maverick Street. From Boston: take Route 1A North along the coastline. Route 1A takes you through the towns of Revere, Lynn and into Swampscott. In Swampscott, follow the sign for Route 129, which is Humphrey Street. This becomes Atlantic Avenue while still in Swampscott. Once into Marblehead, go through the first traffic light (Clifton Avenue). Continue approximately one mile to the next traffic light (at Ocean Avenue). Turn left and go one block to the next traffic light. Turn right; within one block, you’ll see the Abbot Public Library on your left. Parking is permitted on the street, and there is a small parking lot in the back of the Library (enter by Maverick Street). From Route 128: take Route 114 East through Salem, following several signs for turns. When you reach the Marblehead line, keep going essentially straight through five sets of lights. The library is on the left shortly past the fifth set of lights, on Pleasant Street. Parking is permitted on the street, and there is a small parking lot in the back of the Library (enter by Maverick Street).
