The Abbot Library provides interlibrary loan service and can request books and other materials from the 27 libraries of NOBLE (North of Boston Library Exchange) as well as other library consortiums such as the Minuteman Libraries, Merrimack Valley Library Consortium, the Boston Public Library and many others. You can request a book or other item by sending us an email or by calling during Library hours at 781-631-2554. Or if you’re in the Library, fill out a Request Form and drop it off at the Main Desk or Reference Desk. We’ll call you when the material arrives so that you can pick it up right here at the Abbot Library.

You can also reserve books and other materials belonging to NOBLE libraries directly through any computer with Internet access or through a computer in the Library. (To do so, you will need a Library card and PIN – personal identification number – which you can get at the Library.) The book or material will be sent to your NOBLE library of choice for you to pick up.
