Abbot Library could not strive to provide the best materials and services to Library users without the generosity of many people, whether that is in the form of an unrestricted financial gift, time spent working on a Friends of the Library booksale or through gifts in memory or honor of a loved one. Please explore the various opportunities that have been created to enable you to help your Library.

We want to acknowledge our deep gratitude to the Trustees of the Harold B. and Elizabeth L. Shattuck Memorial Fund. This website was created almost entirely with funding from this fund, which has enabled us to be more creative and comprehensive than would ever be possible without their support. We hope that Mr. and Mrs. Shattuck would look favorably on our efforts to be a dynamic resource to the Marblehead Community. The Fund has also allowed us to provide numerous improvements in Library services.
