Volunteers
Abbot Library is very fortunate to have a number of people who volunteer their time to assist the staff in providing needed services to Library customers. Among the activities that volunteers undertake are assisting at children’s functions, helping to keep the magazines and books in order so that customers can find what they need, delivering materials to homebound customers, assisting with signs and displays to keep people informed, or teaching basic computer skills.
Through volunteering at the Library, you can have the satisfaction of helping your community, of becoming familiar with many aspects of the operation of the Library, and of learning new skills or sharing a special talent you may have. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at the Abbot Library, please call Ann Connolly 781-631-1481, ext. 214 for an application. Please be sure to include your address. Thank you!
