The Teen Advisory Group meets every Tuesday from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm in the Conference Room at Abbot Public Library. Signup forms are available in the Teen Room and at TAG meetings. This is a volunteer opportunity for grades 7-12.

Star Wars Day Celebration
Thursday, May 4th, 3:00 pm

May the 4th Be With You, Always! We’re celebrating Star Wars Day in style with movies, snacks, lightsabers, and more. Be there or be a half-witted, scruffy-looking Nerf Herder!

in the Lower Level Teen Room

Mother’s Day is coming, and you probably need a thoughtful, touching card or gift. The Teen Room has you covered! Stop by May 9th or 11th to make something filled with love for your Mom or Mom-Like Parental Figure Of Choice.

Slime Time: A Slime-Making Workshop and Slime Swap
Tuesday, May 23rd, 3:00 pm
in the Lower Level Teen Room

Like making slime? Me too. So let’s make some and/or trade it! We’ll have all the materials for various kinds of slime including scented and glittery! Afterward we’ll have time to swap slime, so if you already make it at home feel free to bring some (we can ONLY trade – you can’t sell slime at this event). If you need to convince your parents, just use these words: chemistry, STEM, non-Newtonian fluid experiment, and non-toxic.
