“Continuing Conversations on Race: The African American Perspective”

May 20 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

These ongoing conversations are a place to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere in which we explore our own biases and continue to learn and grow by hearing each other’s stories, so that we can best make a difference. It is a place for listening, conversation, and engagement.

Join us as we celebrate two years of conversations and shared learning.

We are starting early so we have time to view and discuss “The Blackness Project.” It is an educational documentary about culture and race from the African American perspective. The goal of “The Blackness Project” is to educate, elevate, and engage all Americans in an effort to bridge the racial divide in our country by creating a meaningful dialogue on race.

As a thank you for joining us, whether for the two years or the first time, we will have refreshments! Cookies and soft drinks to enjoy as we converse about the movie and what we have learned these two years.
