We offer monthly events for teens, including crafts, movies, and a weekly Teen Advisory Group. Past programs include Candy Sushi, Fortune Telling, Book-making workshops, sewing workshops, Henna, and Cupcake Decorating.

Kids’ Halloween Party Volunteers
Thursdays, October 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th, 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Party: Thursday, October 31st, 3:30 pm

Teen volunteers in grades 7-12 are needed to help plan and host the Library’s Halloween Party for kids. We will make decorations, plan fun games, prep crafts, and maybe tell some Halloween stories! Teens can expect 7-10 community service hours spread over 5 weeks.


Teen Movie Afternoon
Tuesday, October 8th, 3:00 pm and
Wednesday, October 16th, 3:00 pm
For Grades 7-12

Grab a snack and a seat – it’s Teen Movie Afternoon! For October we’ll be featuring a movie with scary fairies, evil bird-people, and an epic quest. Not quite horror, but definitely creepy. There will be two showings, on Tuesday October 8th and Wednesday, October 16th at 3:00 pm.


Costume Crunch Time
Monday, October 28th – Wednesday, October 30th
2:30 pm – 4:30 pm
For Grades 7-12

Forgot to make a costume? No money to buy one? Never fear! We’ll provide craft supplies and last-minute costume ideas after school from Monday, October 28th – Wednesday, October 30th. Stop in, grab a snack, and leave with your costume figured out.
